I hope you all were able to stay warm and safe this past weekend. I am pretty sure we are all hoping that that was the last storm of this arctic-style winter!!
The class has earned another reward party for collecting paws. Students receive paws from any staff member for demonstrating positive behavior. The class has chosen to have an "Electronic Party" this Friday. They can bring any electronic (or board) game that they have. If they do not have any electronics to bring, they will be able to borrow a school computer to play games.

Writing-
This week the students will be writing an Auto-Biography. The order forms for these published books is coming home today in your child's Monday Folder. You will automatically get 1 FREE book just for signing and returning the order form. If you would like to order more, just follow the instructions on the order form.
Math-
Students will be practicing telling time to the half hour, quarter hour, and minute.
Spelling-
A new list was given out today. The topic is government and civics. The final test will be on March 13.
Social Studies-
Students will learn about citizenship and what it takes to be a good citizen.
Reading-
The students will practice finding the main idea and supporting details in a text.
