Hope you all had a beautiful weekend! I am so glad the weather
cooperated with us! J Here is what is coming up in 3rd Grade and a few
reminders!
Quick Reminders:
- No School on Friday!
- 3rd Graders will be taking their Spring MAP assessments April 28-30 (next week)
- Science Fair Projects- Process and Materials sections are due on Monday, April 28
- Science Week is April 28-2
- The PTO Family Night on Friday, May 2 is coming up! Please check out information for raffle tickets and fun events that night!
Math- We are beginning Topic 15 this week which is about measuring liquid volume and mass.
Reading- Students are completing their novel studies this week with a final project. We will begin reading a whole class novel this week, as well. The title of the book is Matilda by Roald Dahl.
Writing- Students will work on editing, revising and publishing the stories they created about a "Power of Protection".
Science- Students will continue to learn more about what makes an ecosystem, different kinds of ecosystems, and why they are important to the inhabitants who live in them.
Spelling- There is no spelling this week. We will have a new list next week that goes along with our Science Fair and Scientific Inquiry.
